A simplified demo privacy policy for portfolio display.
What we collect
FreshCart stores account, order, fulfillment, loyalty, gift-card and newsletter data in its demo database. Transactional email and newsletter delivery are available when the configured email provider is enabled. Email message bodies are not stored in FreshCart email logs.
Local browser storage
Some shopping preferences and recently viewed items are kept in browser storage. Signed-in cart and checkout workflows may also save related information to the demo database.
Payments
Stripe TEST checkout uses Stripe-hosted card collection and test payment processing. FreshCart stores associated demo order and payment references, not raw card numbers. Use Stripe test card details only; do not enter a real card.
A real store
A production build would describe lawful bases, retention periods, processors and customer rights. This page is fictional demo content and is not a legal policy.
